Tel Aviv... Tehran... Who will go bankrupt first?

Qusay Majdi Salim
In the world of politics, nothing is more harmful than wishful thinking. And that thinking is harmful in any case and everywhere. A major flaw is pouring desires into analysis and criticism, because that makes the conclusion flawed, even if it turns out to be true.

Among the facts that have been circulating in research and study centers, and discussed by many experts on respected news channels, the following has emerged:
Iran is capable of inflicting painful but inconclusive damage (bringing the economy to a standstill for days, paralyzing vital facilities), but it is incapable of destroying Israels military infrastructure or achieving a strategic victory.

This is in addition to emphasizing that the recent attacks have proven that "significant damage" is possible if Iran crosses the political cost threshold of escalation.

The current war proves that:
"Iran is fighting Israel as a poor country possessing technological terrorism (missiles/drones),
while Israel is fighting Iran as a rich country possessing expensive technology (advanced defense systems/aircraft)."

According to an analysis by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI),

The real battle is: who will go bankrupt first? Israel is under economic pressure (the cost of interception is 50 million per day), and Iran is facing a currency collapse (the rial has fallen 40% since 2023).

However, Israel has unlimited support from several Western countries, led by the United States, while Iran has only exhausted allies, with the exception of China.

However, Western support has begun to decline, and the European Unions rhetoric has intensified, even going further by sanctioning ten Israeli officers who participated in the Iran-Iraq war!

Trump also doesnt want a long war now. His election promises and what he hopes to achieve during his term make him reluctantly accept the war, hoping it wont be prolonged.

The only country and regime that sees significant benefit in this war is the State of Israel, and especially the Netanyahu regime.

A state that is not disputed by two goats about its racist, colonial, and criminal settler state has no means of survival except by making permanent enemies... because peace is not in its interest!

As for the Netanyahu regime, its greatest wish is for the war to continue until all the blood is shed. This will save it from imprisonment and public humiliation.
