
Sudan at the Gulf Summit with Trump in attendance

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed the need for a ceasefire in Sudan in his speech at the Gulf-US summit held today, Wednesday, in Riyadh.
He said that the Kingdom will continue efforts to end the crisis in Sudan through the Jeddah Forum, which is sponsored by Saudi Arabia and the United States, to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire in Sudan.
US President Donald Trumps Special Envoy to the Middle East and Senior Advisor for African Affairs, Massad Boulos, confirmed that the US administration is exploring peaceful solutions to resolve the situation in Sudan.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, he said that the Sudanese issue is a priority and of importance to the US administration, and that efforts will soon begin in this regard.
The fifth Gulf-US summit began today in Riyadh, with the participation of US President Donald Trump, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, and leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
