A gallows at the Haj Yousef Criminal Court and a narrator of a citizens suffering in Al-Jazeera

Moatinoon obtained photos of a gallows at the Haj Yousef Criminal Court, installed by the Rapid Support Forces in one of the courtrooms. It is a traditional gallows consisting of a rope and a chair, and the words "Execution by hanging until death" are written on the wall behind the gallows.
According to officials, the number of those executed has not yet been determined. The court buildings themselves were severely damaged, with the glass facade smashed, and furniture and belongings stolen.
A follower of the Moatinoon newspaper, a citizen of Al-Jazeera, wrote a letter after reading Amnesty Internationals report on sexual abuses committed by the Rapid Support Forces against women in Al-Jazeera and Darfur, which was published in the newspaper. The author of the letter requested that his name not be published.
By God, weve suffered a lot. Imagine being gripped by a sense of fear at all hours of the day, as if it were a prescription, or that daily fear and panic have become a requirement for entering paradise. We experience all its states, from a rapid heartbeat to the point where you fear others might hear it, to sweat gushing down your tense, labored breaths, and trembling all around you, completing the terror before the columns of armed men. At that moment, your tongue wont be able to utter a single, complete sentence.
Brother, theyve gathered the years harvest, leaving not a measure of corn or a dry sack. Theyve even drunk the scum of the kisra dough, and theyve carried away all their wealth, gold, valuables, and the foundations, doors, and roofs of their houses.
After each round, we would learn that there was an (unspoken) agreement between the looting gangs and our Sunni government: they would humiliate the people of the island, subjugate them, and degrade their dignity in exchange for their spoils and plunder, until the citizen was defeated and driven mad by his confusion and bewilderment at what he saw. Despair would overtake him, and he would bow his head and dangle his hands behind his back in complete submission to fate and the will of God.

Brother, some women over eighty years old went out with us. By God, they walked with us 23 kilometers and returned. I wont discuss the waiting and patience we endured due to their health conditions and illnesses. We waited patiently for them out of compassion for their situation and appreciation for their circumstances.

I give you good news that this year will witness a food gap that will affect the entire nation. This is because preparing the land for planting this season will be beyond the capacity of most farmers. This will be discussed in the coming days about the repercussions of the situation and the continuation of the devastation and squalor that will affect us for years to come.
