
124 Civilians Victims of War in Khartoum, El Obeid, and North Darfur Count Their Victims

The Khartoum locality witnessed widespread forced displacement over the past week, accompanied by brutal violations including looting, beatings, rape, kidnapping and ransom demands, torture, dragging, and injuries from live ammunition, which claimed the lives of many innocent people.
The Khartoum localitys emergency room reported in its latest update that 50 citizens were killed, including 10 volunteers, while 70 citizens were arrested and forcibly disappeared, along with 12 volunteers.
In Omdurman, the death toll from the Rapid Support Forces shelling of Karari locality, north of the city, rose to 7 dead and 43 wounded among the civilian population, according to a statement from the Khartoum State Ministry of Health. Meanwhile, El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan, witnessed continued artillery shelling, which killed 4 people and wounded 20 others yesterday.
The Sudan Doctors Network condemned the bombing, describing it as a massacre. In an official statement, it said, "The Sudan Doctors Network condemns the deliberate missile attacks by the Rapid Support Forces on El Obeid, which caused a massacre as the missiles targeted civilian homes and gathering places."
For its part, the North Darfur State Government announced the number of children and women killed in the clashes, from the outbreak of the war in April 2023 to this March.
Ibrahim Khater, Director General of the Ministry of Health in North Darfur, said that 2,059 children were killed, while 2,468 women were killed, from the beginning of the war on April 15, 2023, to March 15, 2025.
Khater confirmed that the total number of dead and injured has risen to 15,006 due to the ongoing clashes in the state. He noted that there are large numbers of deaths that have not reached hospitals, in addition to dozens of deaths and injuries occurring daily in villages west, south, east, and north of El Fasher, as a result of the Rapid Support Forces continued targeting of El Fasher.
