The Emergency Lawyers group condemned the "brutal" attacks carried out by the Rapid Support Forces on Qatina countryside in White Nile State, and the group held the forces directly responsible for the violations against unarmed civilians, which it considered war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Emergency Lawyers media said that more than 200 people, including women and children, were killed during the Rapid Support Forces attack on villages in the Qatina countryside area in White Nile State, in addition to hundreds of wounded and missing.

The group said in a statement today that the Rapid Support Forces brutally attacked the villages of Al-Kadaris and Al-Khalwat in Qatina countryside in White Nile State during the past three days, targeting unarmed civilians in areas completely devoid of any military manifestations.

The statement added that the Rapid Support Forces also carried out field executions, kidnappings, enforced disappearances, and looting of private property of residents. Fleeing people trying to cross the Nile were also shot with live ammunition, drowning in a deliberate genocide. The group called for those responsible for these crimes to be held accountable and for international justice mechanisms to be activated to ensure they are brought to justice. "The international community must take effective action to stop these violations and ensure that those responsible do not escape punishment," it said.
