The Rapid Support Forces killed the journalist of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the State of Al Jazeera and the correspondent of the Sudanese Communist Party mouthpiece Al-Maidan, Hanan Adam, and her brother, Youssef Adam, in their home in the village of Wad Al-Asha, in the countryside of the city of Arab. in flagrant violation of all international laws and customs.
With the killing of Hanan Adam, the number of journalists killed since the outbreak of the 15 April war has reached 15 journalists and journalists whose lives the union commands.
The Sudanese Journalists Union condemned the murder of journalist Hanan Adam and her brother, held the RSF fully responsible for her murder and demanded that RSF uncover the perpetrators and hold those responsible accountable.
The union warned RSF against continuing to violate journalists, journalists and media workers rights. It called on local, regional and international organizations working on press freedom and journalists protection to pressure the RSF to condemn the incident.
There had been an alarming rise in violations against journalists and journalists, while the Unions monitoring bodies had documented more than 500 violations against journalists and journalists since the outbreak of the war in the Sudan.
