Activities in kalaka and North Bahri to mitigate the effects of war on children

Abu Adams Children and Womens Safe Space held an environmental festival where children presented various paragraphs of plays, songs and exhibitions that had a positive impact among children, mothers and the community. The northern Bahri region has experienced similar activities for children in the region.

The Kakala Emergency Room said the safe space was intended to provide a safe environment to mitigate the psychological effects of war on these segments.

The festival witnessed numerous educational activities, including the provision of educational doses for basic subjects to raise childrens educational standards. He also witnessed recreational activities by organizing many sports and cultural competitions from theatre, singing, drawing, exhibitions and other entertainment activities that help to mitigate the negative effects caused by the war.

The festival also witnessed health activities and the allocation of medical personnel to provide assistance, initial examinations of children and follow-up on their health conditions. Psychological health personnel also conducted psychological counselling sessions for women and children and provided psychological support, as well as a daily meal for children within the safe space.
