Dead and wounded in airstrikes on southern Khartoum

Some 23 people were killed and more than 40 injured in the bombing of the central market south of Khartoum on Saturday afternoon, according to an emergency room south of the belt.

In a Facebook post today, the chamber said Bashair, Al Razi and Al Raki hospitals received dozens of cases for treatment and described some of them as critical.

The market is located near a sports town in the Sudanese capital, which is being taken by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) as their forces camp.

The fighting sides have been fighting violent battles for a week throughout the capital and other cities, following the Sudanese armys advancement in several axes in the cities of Khartoum, Omdurman and Bahri.
