80 deaths and 150 cholera infections in Sinnar

In a field report, the Sinnar Youth Caucus reported 150 cases of cholera and 80 deaths in several areas of Sinnar state.

The report noted the worsening health situation in the state "where there is no medicine, there is no shortage of medical staff, there is no food care for patients, and there is no necessary health precautionary measures at Sinnar Teaching Hospital dedicated solely to the reception of cholera cases.

The report also noted the absence of the Governments role as a representative of the Ministry of Health, the localities and the competent authorities in the fight against the epidemic.

The report referred to areas where the epidemic is spreading in the state, including East Sinnar Wood al-Abbas, Wade, Miss, Ould al-Ajoub, Mayerno and Kabush.
