A Sudanese youth coalition launches ``Youth_ In Front`` Campaign

On International Youth Day, the Youth Coalition for Peace and Peaceful Coexistence (YCPPC) launches the initiative of “Youth_ In Front Campaign” that aims to highlight the great contributions and efforts made and are still doing by young men and women in the context of the disasters and crises that afflicting Sudan, especially within the unfolding war since April 2023.

This initiative comes within the framework of the appreciation to the pioneer role that have been played by youth to cope with catastrophes and crisis fostered by their active participation in voluntary work, whether through managing emergency rooms or organizing community efforts for providing fund and assistants to IDPs in camps. It also celebrate the efforts run by young women, who have shown a great courage and resilience to adapt with the daily challenges that they face.

“Youth_ In Front Campaign” call on the Sudanese conflicting warring parties to adhere to what was agreed upon in Jeddah Platform, particularly in regard to opening humanitarian corridors to facilitate the delivery of aids to victimized areas where there is an urgent need for supporting local communities to face the serious humanitarian challenges that threat overwhelming majority of the Sudanese men and women.

“Youth_ In Front Campaign” call the warries party to listen to the wise voices, understand the people’s needs and priorities that intended to apply the principles of peace and security that preserve human dignity and rights. It ask them to work honestly and responsibly to put an end to the people suffering via adopting amicable and fair methods rather than expanding the war a destructing the country’s economy.
