``Our Hearts in Fasher Al-Sultan``: A Virtual Art Exhibition

The Sudanese Fine Artists Union launched a virtual exhibition titled "Our Hearts in Fasher Al-Sultan," with the participation of more than 140 artists from 12 countries. This initiative aims to support the people of the besieged city of El Fasher and highlight the suffering of the people of Darfur and other regions of Sudan.

The Fine Artists Union emphasized that this step comes in response to the messages of steadfastness sent by artist Salah Ibrahim from the heart of suffering, and embodies the historical role of Sudanese fine art in accompanying the national struggle, from its beginnings to the glorious December Revolution.

The Union called on all organizations, associations, and artistic groups to unify their efforts and participate with their creative works, raising the voice of art in the face of pain and rejecting violence and hatred. It emphasized that this moment is not only an act of solidarity, but a historic opportunity to unite Sudanese fine artists and deliver a humanitarian message to the world.

Ismail Abdel Hafeez, head of the Sudanese Fine Artists Union, told Moatinoon that the virtual exhibition "Our Hearts in Fasher Al-Sultan," which opened on September 3 and continues with workshops in Cairo, aims to raise the voice of art in the face of displacement, hunger, and epidemics, and to deliver a humanitarian message that art must rise above the sound of artillery.
